THIS POST IS FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT FOR 8 MONTHS TO 31/3/26 DUE TO FUNDING.

This position offers comprehensive project support services to the International Health Coordination Centre based in the Policy and International Health WHO collaborating Centre. Responsibilities include planning and organising various project activities and work streams across the Directorate and the broader organisation.The Project Support Officer coordinates and manages project activities, ensuring effective delivery and compliance with organisational standards.The post-holder will support all operational administrative tasks necessary to deliver programs and projects on time and within budget. These programs often involve internal and external stakeholders and have fixed timelines. This role is crucial for coordinating key participants to advance the workstreams.The Project Support Officer must possess exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, capable of managing, developing, and influencing both people and projects. Duties include timely and accurate project and program reporting, supporting quality assurance processes for individual projects, and contributing to the creation of reports and papers for relevant meetings.Working independently without daily supervision, the post-holder will escalate any identified risks and issues through the appropriate channels
