An exciting opportunity has arisen for two part time Sexual Health Team Support workers to join the Sexual Health team based at Imperial Park, Newport. Candidates will need to be enthusiastic, well-motivated and innovative, with good organisational and practical. Have well developed interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to lead and support individual and team working.

Main duties of the job

This role will provide clerical and technical support to the Test and Post service. This will involve packing kits and condoms, checking of request form identification, barcode labelling of forms, data entry of service user information, and dealing with email queries.

Core duties

To be part of the sexual health (CDIHP) support team.

To print request forms and pack test kits and condoms

To perform data entry of service user details onto dedicated computer systems, including dealing with changes to demographic details

To enter requests onto the computer system

To use computer systems to input and retrieve information and to identify incomplete work

To communicate with service users in various formats (i.e., verbal and electronic)

To process and sort mail.
