THIS POST IS FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT FOR 12 MONTHS DUE TO COVER MATERNITY LEAVE

TEC Cymru is a Welsh Government funded Programme responsible for providing oversight, cohesion and structure to Technology Enabled Care in Wales.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to lead, manage and facilitate the adoption of Video Consulting, in a clinical setting, across Wales. The successful post holder will be working on a national basis, initially leading the National Video Consulting Programme within the wider TEC Cymru Programme.

Candidates should have experience of delivering technical projects, driving forward business change, facilitating multiple projects and working in collaborating across organisations. Experience of delivering health related systems whilst addressing business change with users would also be advantageous. Candidates must be skilled in planning, managing complexity, multi-tasking and have excellent communication skills.

The role will require a motivated and energetic individual with a 'can do' attitude. You must have strong leadership and a proven ability to engage clearly with both technical colleagues, clinical colleagues and solution providers. The candidate must also be able to respond and flex to challenges as they may arise.

Main duties of the job

The Programme Manager function within TEC Cymru has been established to lead and manage a designated portfolio of national projects, ensuring that they are coherent and balanced with a strong focus on delivery and implementation of products and services to NHS Wales interpreting national policy and guidance. The role holder will lead and manage the quality and assurance of projects within the Programme.
