Job summary

The post holder will be a key member of the Strategic Programme for Mental Health Team and will support the development and delivery of administrative oversight and operations and provide or oversee all necessary support.

In addition, they will provide business management, risk management & corporate governance support and development to the wider Mental Health Team.

Main duties of the job

The overall purpose of the Business Manager post is to:

  • Provide management and business support to the Strategic Programme for Mental Health within the resources available
  • Coordinate and implement cross cover support to other functions within the Strategic Programme for Mental Health, provide and ensure the provision of appropriate support and advice to administration and clerical staff and senior management.
  • Manage defined business, administrative and strategic projects within the Strategic Programme for Mental Health with the support of teams within the functions.
  • Manage related finances and routinely prepare business reports to ensure the Strategic Programme for Mental Health is diligent in the execution of its responsibilities and can demonstrate value for money through its deliverables.
  • The post holder will coordinate the Strategic Programme for Mental Health business continuity arrangements, including liaising closely with leads from each area.
  • Organising meetings and taking minutes is a key part of the role

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
