This is an exciting opportunity to join the Public Health Value and Economics team, Policy and International Health Directorate at Public Health Wales undertaking national and international work as part of the World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Centre on Investment for Health and Well-being (WHOCC).
The role will focus on the programmes of Well-being Economy and Health; and Social Value of public health, working closely with colleagues across the directorate, the organisation, the NHS, Welsh Government, wider Wales, and internationally as appropriate.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will assist in the delivery of the directorate and organisational objectives and provide an international health policy and know-how analyses and resources in the context of Social (Public) Value and building a Well-being Economy in Wales.
Using appropriate research, policy and communication tools, the post holder will collate public health information, policies and best practice to provide up to date intelligence on population health aspects specifically in relation to new economic concepts, methods and approaches, such as the Well-being Economy, Social Value and Social Return on Investment (SROI).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, accessing a range of data and evidence, ensuring quality, engaging with stakeholders and partners, undertaking research and interpretation of public health, economics and policy information at local, national and European / Global levels.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
