Job summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) team. This role is central to promoting best practice, reducing health-care associated infections (HCAIs), and supporting compliance with national standards across the organisation.
You do not need to be an experienced IPC nurse to apply; however, a strong understanding of infection prevention principles and a commitment to patient safety are essential. The successful candidate will provide specialist IPC advice and guidance, audit and surveillance, training delivery and policy implementation.
This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to influence practice, and a collaborative approach to working with clinical and operational teams to uphold high standards of safety for patients, staff, and the wider community.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
