An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust as its first Head of Commercial Development.

A unique opportunity to join an ambitious organisation with a transformative agenda to develop and drive forward our commercial strategy, directing and managing all the Trust's activities concerned with new business development, including bids and tenders, the generation of new income streams, and (where applicable) to ensure the protection of current business which Commissioners may re-tender.

This role is ideally suited to someone who is a commercial development specialist, with ambition, commitment, and a strong suite of commercial and entrepreneurial skills. You will need to be adaptable, organised, have great interpersonal skills with the knowledge and experience needed to realise our commercial ambitions from their infancy.

You will also need demonstrable experience of harnessing ideas and translating them into viable commercial propositions and products, as well as a full grasp of the necessary governance and legal structures required to realise those ideas. If you believe you have the experience, commercial acumen and commitment to support a leading NHS brand in becoming a commercial leader in its field, then we would love to hear from you.
