Job summary

The NHS 111 Wales service undertakes remote Clinical assessments 24 hours per day 7 days per week, and as such employs a large group of Clinicians including Nurse, Paramedics and Dental Advisors.

Applications are welcomed from Registered Nurses; Applicants are expected to have experience of Management roles within a health care delivery setting.

They will also be able to demonstrate experience in managing demand activity and workforce planning, with high levels of current clinical knowledge.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will provide visible leadership across the NHS 111 Wales service. Providing direct line management to the Senior Clinical Advisor team and work closely with the operational leadership team.

A key part of the role includes supporting the Service Manager with operational delivery plans for the 111 service.

working closely as part of the team you will oversee the management of sickness within the clinical staff groups and provide focus and leadership on concerns and patient safety.

The successful applicant will also lead on Clinician recruitment for the region.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
