Job summary

A vacancy has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic ophthalmic photographer to join our Ophthalmology department. This role will support the photography team in delivering a high quality and extensive service across the Ophthalmology department.

The successful candidate will have an interest in clinical imaging/photography along with a degree in health studies or relevant experience. General ophthalmic or photographic experience would be an advantage, with knowledge of retinal photography including FFA, ICG, OCT and Pentacam highly desirable. Applicants will need to be flexible with good communications skills and be able to work under pressure.

You will have the opportunity to use your own initiative, provide leadership to the wider team and use excellent interpersonal skills to provide a range of technical skills while looking after the patients attending this busy department. A supported development program will be available to ensure personal and professional growth within this role.

3. To assist in the smooth running of the department by undertaking other technical skills to support the patient pathway through the department;
