Ambulatory Care Team (PACT). We are
extending our very successful service to cover 7 days a week and therefore we
are offering part time, permanent contracts to support this development. The
role will give you the opportunity to work with this highly skilled team and
gain competence and knowledge in a huge array of clinical skills, including IV
antibiotics, IV infusions, blood transfusion, cannula insertion, chemotherapy
infusion & observation, skeletal survey and sweat tests.to name just a
few!
The
service runs 7 days a week 8.00 until 17.00 Monday to Friday and 9.00 to 15.00 at the weekends. You will be part of a rostered system and
will be expected to work weekends. Hours
can be discussed at interview.

Main duties of the job
- You will be able to work well within a small team.
- You will demonstrate excellent communication skills when
liaising with the multidisciplinary team.
- Perform a nursing assessment on patients who attend PACT
- Review patient results and then act +/- discuss with medical
team to ensure an efficient patient care journey.
- You will be able to prioritise and plan patient care.Ideally
you will be IV competent.
- It would be advantageous to be Central venous
line/Portacath competent although training can be given.
- You will demonstrate the ability to maintain clear written
and digital records
