The Emergency SDEC team are looking for experienced registered nurses to join our team. We have two permenant positions and one secondment position (six months) available to cover maternity leave.

We are looking for positive, resilient, compassionate and enthusiastic nurses who have a thirst for learning and developing their skills and knowledge within minor skills. We will support you to develop skills such as triage, suturing and plastering.You will work closely with Emergency Nurse Practitioners to ensure that patients pathway through both the Emergency Care Centre and Urgent Treatment Centre is safe, efficient and within a timely manner.

You must have the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, have good written and verbal communication skills, and enjoy working in constantly and rapidly changing environments. It is essential that you are able to work across both units

Main duties of the job

You will work across both units and with a cohesive multidisciplinary team to ensure patient care is delivered smoothly and efficiently.

The expectations within this job description will be achieved through hands-on clinical practice, education and training and research.
