An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced enthusiastic and motivated RN or AHP to join our Hospital At Night team within our Urgent Care division at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust.
We are looking for 3 full time Registrants with a passion for delivering outstanding care, to join our hospital at night service to cover in-patient areas across site.
As a large district general hospital, we offer the opportunity to develop your career as a Junior Hospital At Night Coordinator within our department.
We support all of our Nurses and AHPs to grow and develop their skills in our workplace. In achieving this we ensure that our patients receive the best care, and our staff continue to learn, develop and work within their scope of practice in accordance with NMC/HPC guidance
Ongoing training and education will afford the successful candidate development and support combined with various teaching activities including supervision, in house study days and in-situ simulation.

Main duties of the job
The
post-holder will practice as a Junior H@N Coordinator to provide
patient-centred, high-quality care. This will encompass the skills of
assessment, examination, and treatment within an agreed scope of practice.
The
post-holder will support a new way of working that emphasises a more efficient
and patient focused service, and will ensure the safe Triage, assessment, treatment,
and referral of patients for further assessment and care.
The
post holder will provide safe and effective clinical care to adults
who require urgent or emergency care and be an effective member of the H@N
team, coordinating team activities to ensure appropriate and timely care for
acutely ill adults.
The post holder will provide leadership to clinical
areas out of hours and act as an ambassador for the H@N service and contribute
to its development and progression.
