We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated colleague with a specialist interest in Genitourinary radiology or IR with an GU interest to join our team of 44 consultants. We are a dynamic and innovative department, and the applicant will be expected to provide acute and sub speciality imaging and have a strong interest in teaching. Qualifications

Essential

  • - Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice
  • - Entry on the GMC specialist register via CCT (proposed date must be within 6 months), CESR or European Community Rights
  • - Fellowship of Royal College of Radiologists, or equivalent.
  • - Subspecialty experience in genitourinary imaging

Desirable

  • - Management course or experience.
  • - Fellowship level training in genitourinary imaging.
  • - Interventional Uroradiology experience including image-guided biopsies and some fluoroscopic procedures.

Experience

Essential

  • - Demonstrable, significant and ongoing experience in GU radiology with evidence of significant subspecialist training, including competence in a broad range of ultrasound, MRI, CT including biopsies.
  • - General Diagnostic Radiology skills to support local requirements for acute general radiology service weekday time and on call/ in and working at weekend.
  • - Understanding of clinical risk management.
  • - Evidence of teaching medical, radiographic and nursing staff.

Desirable

  • - Fellowship in Uroradiology.
  • - Interventional Uroradiology experience including image-guided biopsies and some fluoroscopic procedures.
