Our Theatres Department is recognised internationally as a Worldwide Centre of Excellence for Robotic Surgery. We offer a modern, well-equipped environment with 29 state-of-the-art theatres across two floors, plus two dedicated maternity theatres delivering elective, emergency, and trauma services for adult, paediatric and obstetric patients.

Our staff are encouraged to continually develop their skills and rotate between at least two areas of practice. Anaesthetic, Recovery and Scrub teams also provide specialist support to:
- Maternity Theatres
- Interventional Radiology
- MRI
- Gastroenterology remote services
We provide a 24/7 service with a variety of shift patterns to suit different lifestyles.
Recent service evolution has enabled theatre staff to rotate into Critical Care, creating valuable opportunities for career progression and broader clinical experience.

Essential
- Current RN/AHP, registration with NMC/HcPC or working towards this within the next 12 months
- Evidence of study at Degree level /Experiencein relevant field
Skills and Knowledge
Essential
- An awareness of research and evidence based practice relevant to clinical area
- You will be willing to work across a minimum of 2 areas of Theatre Practice as part of your ongoing development.
Desirable
- You will need to be open and adaptable to learning new skills and developing your Leadership skills.
- Computer literate, knowledge of patient administration system
