Are you looking for a new role within Pharmacy? If so, we would love to hear from you! Currently we are recruiting for a Senior Manufacturing Assistant at Band 3 level to support our lovely small team based in Drayton.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for you to be an enthusiastic, highly motivated person to join our friendly and dynamic team to provide high quality of quality assurance work for aseptic services. You should be able to multitask and communicate with all staff efficiently with confidence.
You will be part of the quality assurance team which has highly professional and dedicated staff whose aim is to provide an excellent, patient focus service.

Job responsibilities
- To assist in the day to day operational work in the Quality Assurance department of the Pharmacy Manufacturing Unit, working in accordance with Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) and departmental procedures to provide services for customers both inside and outside the Trust.
- You will be involved with enforcement of quality management systems within the section including completion of documentation, maintenance of quality indicators and compliance.
- You will liaise with senior production to ensure all monitoring is completed according to schedule,Monitor the quality of raw materials, components and finished products to ensure compliance with the specifications.
Our aim is to provide our valued staff with excellent training in Quality Assurance to become skilled, highly competent, and confident in their job roles. We encourage innovative working which includes the development and future proofing of our facilities to meet the growing needs of the service.

- GCSE level C or above including maths, English and a science or equivalent qualifications or previous work experience that demonstrates comparable ability within a GMP/Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) environment
Desirable
- Completion of external training packages relating to GMP.
Experience

- Demonstrated ability to work to set procedures and follow written instructions
- Minimum 2 years working in an aseptic preparation / GMP / GLP environment in a Pharmacy Support worker post equivalent or above
- Completion of in-house or equivalent training packages and proven competence.
Desirable
- Competence in Microsoft excel / word and report monitoring experience.
