Portsmouth University Hospital Trust is recruiting Band 5 radiographers with a passion for x-ray. We welcome applications from student radiographers due to graduate in the summer of 2024, as well as qualified radiographers wishing to relocate to a new challenge. Main duties of the job

We offer experience across a wide range of Imaging specialties including: Plain Film, Fluoroscopy, Paediatrics, Trauma, Cardiology, Intervention and opportunities to experience other imaging modalities.
We have a structured preceptorship programme in place to support our Band 5 radiographers through their first year in post and beyond. You will be supported by an experienced team and encouraged to develop to your potential over time.

To conduct diagnostic radiography examinations across a range of general radiography, upon a range of patient types both as an autonomous practitioner and as part of a multi professional team, in a manner that meets professional, departmental and legal standards and requirements.
To independently assess each patient and adapt radiographic techniques according to the needs of the patient.
To use professional discretion and experience to ensure that clinical practice is carried out correctly, professionally and within the legal framework.
