Digital Project Support Officer

Job summary

A major transformational programme has been launched by VUNHST to modernise health service delivery, including promoting better ways of working with the use of new health information technologies to support better decision making and information sharing.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the project team in the implementation of a range of IT and service improvement projects.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the project team in ensuring the successful delivery of projects and that projects produce the required products, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost.

This is a hybrid working role, with a minimum requirement to work from the various Velindre University NHS Trust locations,2 to 3 days each week (with flexibility to be at various sites on additional days for events and meetings as required by the organisation). Remaining working days are to be remote working. Interviews for this post will be required in person on site.

This is a Fixed term /Secondment until 30 September 2027 to cover the needs of the service - If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.

Main duties of the job

To support the delivery of a variety of digital projects.

To work as a member of the project team, the Project Support Officer's prime responsibility is to provide project and organisational support to the Project manager and the project boards.

The Project Support Officer will be required to take responsibility and manage designated elements of Projects e.g., supporting, facilitating andmonitoring progress of projects.

To provide administration support to the project as required
