Velindre University NHS Trust is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Estates Manager to lead the Trust-wide estates function, ensuring safe, sustainable, and compliant healthcare environments. This senior role involves strategic planning, operational estates management, capital project delivery, and oversight of compliance across engineering services and critical systems.
1. This post is fixed term/secondment until September 2027. Main duties of the job
You will act as the Trust's principal estates expert, advising senior leaders, managing complex construction and engineering projects, and ensuring adherence to statutory, legislative, and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong leadership, policy development, budget management, and the ability to drive long-term infrastructure and decarbonisation goals.

- oTechnical, construction and project management skills
- oHealth and Safety knowledge e.g. Health and Safety and Work regulations
- oLegislation with regard to statutory and Health and Safety with regard to the Estate including COSHH, asbestos and legionella
- oGood working knowledge and understanding of environmental sustainability issues and carbon reduction
