Job summary

The corporate Nursing Team at Velindre University NHS Trust has an exciting opportunity for a Band 4 Administrative Assistant. This will be on a permanent basis, 30 hours per week.

The Corporate Nursing Administrative Assistant supports the Deputy Director of Nursing, the Head of Safeguarding, the Head of Professional Standards & Digital, and the Trust's Clinical and Scientific Strategy Lead. The role will involve arranging meetings, supporting in the preparation of agendas and papers for meetings, minute taking for meetings, diary management, the collation of data and assistance with the compilation of formal reports and Board papers. You will also need to be self directed with regards to updating work plans / project plans etc. An element of cross cover with the Corporate Quality and Safety Administrative Assistant will also be expected.

Please note that you will need the agreement of your current line manager before applying for this role.

This role will be ideal for someone with the relevant skillset to gain experience of working within corporate services.   • GCSE pass Maths and English
  • Good working knowledge of Admin
  • RSA3 or equivalent ECDL qualification

  • Previous NHS / Healthcare experience
