Job summary
Within this role, you will:
- Work at the independent living centre (ILC) providing highly specialist assessment, diagnosis, treatment and advice to patients and their carers. The specialist area is community equpiment and includes a wide range of acute, chronic and terminal care cases, many having highly complex disabilities and/or presentations.
- Be part of an interdependent, multidisciplinary team ensuring that therapy input is integrated into the patients overall care plan.
- Offer expert advice in complex equipment, postural management and moving & handling.
- Work collaboratively with NHS, Social Care, commissioners and community partners.
