Cancer Information Support Manager

Job summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Cancer Information Support Manager to take up a new role within the Cancer and Elective Care Division who will be central to the collection and submission of cancer data, as well as the delivery of clinical cancer reporting and analysis. This pivotal role is essential in supporting the accurate and timely submission of the Cancer Outcomes and Services Dataset (COSD), Cancer Waiting Times (CWT), and other national audits, and in ensuring the quality of cancer data across the Trust.
The successful candidate will work with clinical teams, the Cancer Audit Facilitator (CAF) and Cancer Data Quality Teams and the Cancer Information Manager to maintain data integrity, support users of cancer information and contribute to service improvement through data analysis and reporting. You will have a leadership role within the team overseeing the cancer management systems including Epic, the Trusts electronic patient record, and liaise with colleagues in Cancer Services and Business Intelligence to improve cancer outcomes through robust data management.
