As Clinical Matron for PEOC, youll play a key role within the surgical care group, providing professional leadership and management of 5 orthopaedic theatres. You will have responsibility and accountability for the provision of the highest standard of clinical care in

the pre and perioperative setting.

In this busy and varied role, youll play an active part in the professional networks within the Royal Devon. You wont be on your own, youll be supported by the Divisional Nurses for advice, support development and professional guidance.

Key duties:

Provide visible leadership support, advice, and assistance required by patients, their families, and carers

Focus on ensuring positive outcomes for patient/client safety, patient experience, and user engagement

Maintain activity levels, managing service pressures & patient flow

Ensure the highest levels of patient care and clinical outcomes

lead on delegated projects on behalf of the Divisional Nurses

support to the Divisional Nurses for day to day operational issues, and deputise as required
