The Oncology and Haematology services have been successful in gaining a significant financial investment, increasing the head count by an additional 79 posts across the multi-disciplinary team.

The team are looking for a Band 6 SACT nurse to join the team, the individuals must be passionate about working with cancer patients.

The post will be essential in continuing to work alongside the Band 7s in developing the nurse led day case services, over three sites Ottery St Mary, Cherrybrook and Yarty Day case. The day case units deliver Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatments (SACT), Supportive Therapies, Ambulatory Medical and Supports Acute Oncology (AO), 6 days a week and AO triage on a Sunday.

The team are looking for an experienced Oncology or Haematology nurses who is competent in oncology and haematology care supported by SACT administration. The individuals must have recent experience of SACT administration across the speciality.

The post will be based on the Eastern site leading the Eastern patient facing team but will be expected to build links with the North as part of the integration agenda.

Working Pattern: 7 day working, days and nights, weekends
