This vacancy is being advertised by Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust and University Hospitals Plymouth simultaneously. Therefore you are not required to submit multiple applications for the same vacancy.

  • Assessment Centre: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an assessment centre with flexible dates between 7th October 2024 and 19th October 2024
  • Interviews: Successful candidates will then be invited for interviews w/c 14th October 2024 and w/c 21st October 2024

Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.

Are you ready to lead and innovate in a high-impact role? We're seeking Configuration Managers to join our Epic Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Programme Implementation team starting January 2025! This is your chance to play a crucial role in the future of patient care.

As a Configuration Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the successful implementation of a specific Epic module. Your expertise will ensure that modules such as:

  • Inpatients

  • Order Entry

  • Pharmacy (including electronic prescribing and stock control)

  • Anaesthetics/Theatres/Intensive Care

  • Maternity

  • Pathology (UHP only)

  • Outpatients

  • Emergency Department

  • Community Care (TSDFT only)

  • Patient Administration System (PAS) modules

As a Senor Configuration Manager / Analyst you will play an integral part in ensuring the Epic EPR will be configured in the most appropriate way to suit the clinical transformation required as part of this One Devon Implementation.

You will work closely with colleagues from across Torbay and South Devon, Royal Devon, University Hospitals Plymouth as part of the One Devon Implementation Team ensuring Epic is implemented to deliver care in both a clinically and financially sustainable way throughout Devon.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead with Precision: Track, report, and oversee the configuration build of your assigned module, ensuring top-notch delivery.

  • Build and Learn: Engage in training to master complex Epic skills while taking on configuration build tasks.

  • Drive Success: Combine your clinical, operational, or IT knowledge with stellar project and people management skills to achieve exceptional outcomes.

What We Offer:

  • Career Growth: Available as a secondment or fixed-term contract until September 2026, with potential for extension or permanent roles.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week

Pay: The salary advertised for this position reflects the Agenda for Change 2024-5 rates, inclusive of a 5.5% pay award implemented from October 2024. If you join before this date, the pay award will be backdated to April 2024 or your start date, whichever is later. Until then, remuneration will be based on the 2023-4 pay bandings (Pay scales for 2023/24 | NHS Employers).
