Job summary
We have a vacancy for a full time Therapy Support Worker in the Community Health and Social Care team in Barnstaple, North Devon.
Do you have experience of working in a care or a rehabilitation setting? We are looking for an individual with good communication skills, a proactive and practical approach and good organisational skills.
We make a difference to peoples lives and the community by working with people to rehabilitate or to manage long-term conditions and find ways to carry out their daily activities. We use a person-centred approach and provide input to people in their own home/place of residence. So, why join us? We are a supportive multidisciplinary team working out of a shared office space in the centre of Barnstaple. The Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists work closely together with support team members as one Therapy team. We work in collaboration with the Social Care and Community Nursing teams along with the Coordinator and Admin team members.
We work with people with a wide range of disabilities and acute or long-term conditions. Our aim is to enable service users to reach their optimum level of function and independence to be able to maintain their health and well-being.
