Job summary
Applications are invited from suitably experienced and enthusiastic professionals, to join our compassionate and collaborative multidisciplinary team of Practitioners in the Emergency Eye Service (EES). There are development opportunities within this role in education, quality improvement, and other subspecialty extended role clinics.
As a department, we are dedicated to the development of a strong multidisciplinary team ready for the future. The post holder will work with the Heads of Service to ensure that the care provided is consistent and of a high standard throughout the patient care pathway, and assist in service developments to achieve this.
Applicants who do not have appropriate competency in anterior slit lamp examination will be considered only if there is a lack of suitably qualified applicants. If successful, these candidates would be employed at Band 5 until sign off of relevant competencies has been achieved.
