The Domestic Assistant Team is central to all we do at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and we have a number of opportunities available for you covering differing shift patterns.

As a Domestic Assistant, you'll be instrumental in upholding the National Specifications of Cleanliness in the NHS 2021 and other healthcare cleanliness standards. Your main goal? To ensure the highest standards of cleanliness across various ward areas, contributing directly to patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

- General cleaning tasks including refuse disposal, high/low dusting, and cleaning of sanitary areas.

- Wet mopping and maintaining the cleanliness of patient equipment.

- Working diligently to maintain a hygienic and safe environment for all.

Working Pattern: 30 hours per week (07:15 - 13:15), including Public Holidays and two out of three weekends.

37.5 hours per week (12:00 - 20:00/08:00 - 16:00/10:00 - 18:00/07:15 - 15:15) as a Specialist, including Public Holidays and two out of three weekends.

30 hours per week (12:30 - 18:30), including Public Holidays and two out of three weekends.

15 hours per week (17:00 - 20:00), Monday - Friday, including Public Holidays.

20 hours per week (15:30 - 19:30), Monday to Friday at Heavitree.

Interview Date: Saturday 27th January 2024 and following week (09:00-14:00) at our Wonford Site in Exeter.
