Job summary

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator to join Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trusts Fundraising Team at a really exciting time in our development.

The post holder will help the charity with the day to day running of the department by:

  • Being the first point of contact for donors and supporters
  • Processing all donations in an accurate and timely manner
  • Acknowledging all donations received
  • Supporting the fundraisers in their day to day activities
  • Supporting the fundraising team with any additional administrative support that is required including at fundraising events

Royal Devon Hospitals Charity (RDHC) is on the lookout for a super-star database co-ordinator to support the day-to-day running of the charity.

Based in the fundraising office on Level 2 at North Devon District Hospital, youll be the first point of contact for our awesome fundraisers, helping to get them started on their fundraising journey and processing and acknowledging their donations.

This is a superb opportunity to play a key role within the charity by ensuring our financial, charitable and administrative records are accurately maintained.

Primary duties will entail precise and regular updates of supporter information onto our fundraising CRM database.

You will also help to co-ordinate the charitys super team of volunteers, as well as providing additional administrative support to the fundraising team.

And while keeping the administrative side of the charity running like clockwork will be a top priority, the role may require occasional evening and weekend work to provide additional support at fundraising events.

Its an exciting time to join our small team. The charity (formerly Over and Above) has recently joined forces with our friends in Eastern Devon (the RD&E Charity) and were ready to roll!

As the official charity of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, the charity supports 2 Acute Hospitals, 17 Community Hospitals and a range of Community, Specialist and Primary Care Services.

We help fund new state-of the-art equipment; create world-class patient and staff environments; support additional staff development, training and wellbeing projects; and fund cutting-edge research.

Weve got big ambitions to become a household name for anyone wanting to support the NHS in Northern, Eastern and Central Devon.

And with your enthusiasm, passion and amazing people skills, and by championing our cause, you can make a difference and help push the limits of whats possible with NHS funding.

Occasionally you will also need to be flexible to support evening and weekend events.

Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
