Job summary
The postholders would work within one of the five Community Nursing Teams in the South West Community Cluster. The teams are based at Pinhoe Surgery, Glasshouse Lane Medical Practice, Westbank Healthy Living Centre and Osprey House in Sowton, Industrial Estate.
Newly qualified staff are welcome to apply or students of Nursing expecting to complete their study this year.
Nurse Associates will be considered but would be paid as per Agenda for Change for Band 4 salary which is currently £25,147 to £27,596 per annum pro rata. This group of staff would be excluded from the Specialist Nurse Practitioners opportunities but professional development will be encouraged.
The posts available are:
Pinhoe Team 22.5 hours Band 5 Community nurse.
Topsham Team (based at Glasshouse Lane) 2 Band 5 posts of 37.5 and 30 hours per week.
Exminster team (based at Westbank Healthy Living Community Centre) 2 Band 5 posts, 22.5 and 37.5 hours per week.
St Thomas Team (based at Osprey House) 1 Band 5 post 37.5 hours per week.
Peripetetic team- 2 posts or one post either 15 per week and 22.5 hours per week or one fulltime post.
