Solent CAMHS has an exciting opportunity for a Team Manager of their Eating Disorder Team. This is an excellent time to join a supportive and established team as we plan and shape our provision across the Portsmouth and Southampton sites.
Solent NHS Trust covers Southampton and Portsmouth Cities and is proud to host a number of CAMHS Services across the two Cities. These range from our early intervention MHST teams through to our crisis services in liaison and community crisis pathways. Our Eating Disorder Teams are core to our overall service delivery.
The Senior Leadership Team for Solent CAMHS compromises of Operational and Strategic Management, alongside Clinical Leadership, to ensure a robust approach to developing, and, maintaining our services.
Main duties of the job
In this role you will be working as part of a Senior Leadership Team with direct responsibility for the delivery of our eating disorder services in Southampton and Portsmouth. You will be working alongside a strong Clinical Lead and supporting our teams in aligning their pathways and delivery models. You will work in strong partnership with key services and be expected to develop positive relationships with partner agencies across the acute and community sector.
Participation and Co Production is core to our service planning and delivery, and you will be expected to work in equal partnership with young people and families in your role.
Whilst you will have direct responsibility for the Eating Disorder Team this role is a key member of the Solent CAMHS Senior Leadership structure and as such will work alongside the SLT to ensure young people have seamless access across our services.

About us
We have been working with other local NHS Trusts to create a new organisation, bringing together all community, mental health and learning disability services from across Hampshire and Isle of Wight. Subject to approvals, the aim is for the new Trust to be formed by July 2024.
Project Fusion is the name for the programme to create the new combined NHS Foundation Trust. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust will be bringing the services into a single organisation will result in more consistent care, more equitable access to services irrespective of postcode, and a more sustainable workforce and services. The new organisation will operate locally to ensure services can best meet the needs of different communities.
The new Trust will be comprised of all the services currently provided by Solent NHS Trust and Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust, the community, mental health and learning disability services provided by Isle of Wight NHS Trust and child and adolescent mental health services delivered in parts of Hampshire by Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
Colleagues will transfer to the new organisation under Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) -- known as TUPE on 1st July 2024. TUPE is a legal process to ensure you transfer out of one organisation and into another, maintaining the terms and conditions of your employment.
