Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Safeguarding Team as an administration assistant.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person with excellent communication and word processing skills who can work both within a team and unsupervised. As well as this, the successful applicant should ideally have previous experience of Systm1 clinical record system.
You will work as part of an established dynamic team providing administrative support to the safeguarding children and adult teams, who provide safeguarding support & training to all of Solent's service lines across Southampton, Portsmouth, Hampshire, and the Isle of Wight. The post holders will be required to work 22.5 hours (3 days) per week.
For this post, you will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have access to the use of a car.
Main duties of the job
To act as the first point of contact to practitioners and professionals from other agencies for the Safeguarding Team.
To deal with highly sensitive information regarding abuse and domestic violence effectively and in a professional manner.
To use information systems e.g. SystmOne, PARIS, MOSAIC, RIO & Spine Portal effectively to identify relevant practitioners, GPs etc.
To set up and maintain systems for the collection of data and monitoring of projects for the Safeguarding Team. This includes setting up databases, spreadsheets and the development of presentations using power point.
To use advanced IT skills to develop and maintain specific databases as required by the Safeguarding Team e.g. Training database, Activity database, Admin Record database, conference reports database, MARACs database etc.
