Job summary
In Solent NHS Trust we are building sustainable primary care teams for the future. We are passionate about improving the health of the population we serve, and we need GPs who share our vision and passion to come and work with us.
We can offer the stability of a salaried GP model within a large NHS Trust, flexible contracts, and a range of employee benefits and wellbeing support.
We will support you to make the most of your skills and experience as a GP, working as part of a multidisciplinary primary care team, and with many opportunities to extend your role, whether that's in training the next generation, clinical leadership, or developing additional clinical skills. We are working hard to develop a clinical model that gets patients to the right place first time, improving outcomes for our population, morale for our practice teams and efficiencies for the local health economy.
Main duties of the job
Solent NHS Trust Primary Care is growing, and we are passionate about developing new models of primary care that integrate with our community and mental health services and work closely with our wider communities. Many of our patients face high levels of health inequality and need but present an interesting and rewarding challenge for the right clinicians. Our diverse teams include Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Mental Health workers supported by a conscientious and compassionate admin and management team.
Roles will include all the usual range of duties of a GP with a mix of remote and face to face appointments, and flexible contracts but with none of the worry about estates or payroll!
