Job summary
Are you self-motivated, with excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills and have the ability to provide high level PA support?
Are you keen to work in a fast paced, dynamic and innovative environment?
As an experienced Personal Assistant, you will deliver a comprehensive PA service to our Senior Leadership Team, be able to work with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels and form effective working relationships. You will provide dedicated support to our Clincal Director, Operations Director and Head of Quality and Professions but will support the wider Senior Leadership team to support all our Service Managers. You will also support the smooth running of our offices working alongside our Business Support Team.
You will have significant experience of working in a Personal Assistant role supporting a Director. You will have excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills with extensive experience of coordinating and managing varying and complex schedules.
Adults Southampton has approximately 650 staff from a range of professions including medical, nursing, administrative, AHP and scientists. You will be part of this friendly team primarily working alongside the Business Support Manager, Business Support Lead and Business Support Administrator.

Main duties of the job
*To provide a high level, professional and confidential support function including the ability to receive complex or sensitive information from the Senior Management Team, Adult Services, Southampton.
*Assisting with the line management for the performance of the Band 3 individuals within the administrative workforce ensuring they are supported to develop highly effective and efficient working practices.
*The post holder will support the Clinical Director, Operations Director, Head of Quality & Professions and Business Support Manager on work with the Service Leads, Finance Business Partner and HR Business Partner to support service developments and achievement of national and local standards
*To build a combination of knowledge and expertise in engagement and behaviour change and technical skills in admin business development to achieve strong service engagement, relationships, and effective practice
*To support the Clinical Director, Operations Director, Head of Quality & Professions and Business Support Manager in addition to supporting the Service Managers in the administrative requirements and developments of systems
*To work without direct supervision and show extensive use of initiative in prioritising and making decisions in relation to effectively supporting the smooth operation of the service
*To ensure that the processes and procedures are documented, followed, and maintained.
