Job summary
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our Operational Development Team, supporting the Transformation Programme Managers. This role will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of projects within our organisation's transformation program.
Your primary focus will be on coordinating and managing project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in driving operational improvements and facilitating the successful delivery of transformation initiatives. Strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for driving positive change are essential for this role.
Main duties of the job
*Be responsible for agreed projects from initiation, implementation, and delivery
*Support and inform the targeting of resources, monitoring, implementation, and evaluation of tasks/projects. This includes but is not limited to information and data analysis, communications, and stakeholder management
*Provide and receive complex, sensitive, or contentious information
*Persuades project boards and staff of the importance of the project
*Negotiate with and motivate colleagues on project delivery, including linking in with other initiatives
*Communicate sensitive information about performance and change
*makes routine/complex formal presentations to large groups
*Provide support/supervision and training in own discipline to other members of the team and wider project management team/colleagues
*Work autonomously or without direct supervision
