We have a full-time (37.5 hours) Inpatient Administration Manager vacancy. The successful applicant will be based at The Orchards and The Limes, where there is on-site parking available. You will Manage and Supervise a team of Administrative Supervisors and Co-ordinators and may include other administrative roles. Our administration team support our Inpatient Wards Clinical Staff and Doctors, as well as liaise in person and by telephone with patients, patients' Carers and Professionals alike.
This role will see you performing a variety of tasks to assist the smooth running of our Inpatient Facilities. Organisation and innovative ideas will be a key part to making this role successful.
Your main focus will be looking after the Inpatient areas of services and you will work closely with other administration managers across our community services. Main duties of the job
- To provide support to the Business Support Manager in providing professional leadership to the administrative workforce to ensure efficient and effective admin support is available to all Inpatient services within Mental Health Services
- Line management responsibility for the performance of individuals within the Administrative workforce ensuring they are supported to develop highly effective and efficient working practices.
- To build a combination of knowledge and expertise in engagement and behaviour change and technical skills in admin business development to achieve strong service engagement, relationships and effective practices
- To work without direct supervision and show extensive use of initiative in prioritising and making decisions in relation to effectively supporting the smooth operation of the service
- To ensure that the processes and procedures for Inpatient services are documented, followed and maintained by those entering and leaving the building
- To carry out other duties as necessary to meet the changing needs of Solent NHS Trust, in accordance with management requirements and appropriate to banding
- All duties will be carried out within the Trust's Information Governance, recording, and data sharing procedures and guidance
