Job summary
The post holder will provide administrative support to the Anaesthetics and Critical Care medical workforce. The role involves coordinating the weekly rota, managing staffing gaps, processing payments for additional sessions, and supporting operational management with workforce administration. The post holder will also attend meetings, take minutes, support junior doctors' inductions, and assist with sickness reporting processes.
Main duties of the job
*Provide comprehensive administrative support to the medical workforce within the Anaesthetics and Critical Care departments.
*Produce the weekly anaesthetic and critical care rota, ensuring it is accurate and up to date.
*Proactively identify and fill rota gaps by liaising with medical staff and operational management to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
*Process payments for additional sessions in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring records are maintained in line with organisational procedures.
*Attend operational and scheduling meetings, taking clear and accurate minutes and distributing them where required.
*Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of junior doctors' inductions that take place throughout the year.
*Assist Operational Management in monitoring the sickness process for medical staff, ensuring sickness documentation and forms are completed and recorded appropriately.
