We are recruiting to 2 exciting Clinical Specialist posts, full time at QE and 19 hours at HGS to work with the O/P Physiotherapy Pain Services.
These roles will work alongside the current Physiotherapy team, Psychologists, Nurses and Pain Consultants to provide a comprehensive MDT pain service. You will be involved in developing Physiotherapy standalone clinics as well as joint MDT clinics to optimise the pain service provision.
Within this role you will be supported to undertake professional development, through attendance at internal/external courses, opportunity for post graduate study, excellent peer support from senior physiotherapy & AHP / MDT colleagues and mentoring through the Trusts career mentoring offer.

Main duties of the job
This post is ideal for a Physiotherapist wishing to use and develop their clinical, leadership and service development skills. The post holder must be an experienced, proactive and innovative Physiotherapist with a strong ability to work independently and as part of the wider MDT.
They will be responsible for developing and expanding clinical practice within the speciality area.
They will lead evidence-based service improvement, audit & research and deliver high quality training to the physiotherapy team and wider MDT.
They must have an excellent understanding of Psychologically informed Physiotherapy and non-pharmacological pain interventions.
They will be responsible for a complex physiotherapy caseload and overseeing other areas of Physiotherapy provision to the pain services.
They will be involved in the Governance of the wider pain service, and this will involve working across sites.
They will provide expert opinion within the speciality for therapy staff and other healthcare professionals.
They should have experience of managing both qualified staff and students.

- *MSc Modules relevant field of Physiotherapy
