Job summary
The Communications Officer for the Togetherness team will work across multiple projects to help the organisation to grow its profile and reach across a range of stakeholders and communities around the UK and internationally. This role comes at an exciting time. We seek to grow awareness of a new brand and embark upon new partnerships to grow our impact for children and families. A varied and fast paced role, the post holder will be central to advancing our engagement strategy, developing sophisticated and multichannel campaigns to improve visibility and impact across our online education offer. This includes developing social media content and tailoring across channels, producing optimised web content and developing an email CRM strategy that effectively segments and personalises meaningful communications. The post holder will take responsibility for managing relationships in key account areas liaising across public sector organisations, health trusts and third sector to ensure the brand is communicated effectively to optimise engagement. The post holder will also work to improve the experience of professionals accessing Togetherness training and be involved in reviewing awareness raising opportunities alongside working to improve registration, onboarding and ongoing support for practitioners. The postholder will help guide our small Togetherness leadership team to make the most of opportunities to be part of national initiatives in emotional health and parenting support.
Main duties of the job
Relationship management: proactively develop relationships in key account areas, support local promotion of Togetherness. Support areas: tailoring materials and leveraging established networks sharing insights and advice for partnership working and coproduction. Communications campaigns: plan and deliver creative, multi-channel campaigns to raise awareness about key parts of Togetherness offer with a focus on delivering against outcomes and KPIs. Copywriting and content: seek and develop engaging news and comment features to support communications campaigns. Social media: review and advise on development of social media channels informed by audience insights, in line with the comms strategy. Oversee audience growth and meaningful impact particularly for parents. Web development: Bringing some specialist knowledge in digital trends and best practice, responsible for reviewing, writing and optimising web copy and content to ensure effective, engaging and accessible communication of our offer. CRM and email design: working to maximise the impact of email communications across our network of trained practitioners. Provide guidance to team members on running and reviewing segmented campaigns in line with the broader engagement strategy. Advertising: research and advise on optimised advertising opportunities both digital and 'out-of-home' in line with strategic engagement objectives. Ensuring impact through segmented and tailored content.
