Main duties of the job
Working closely with clinical teams, managers and wider support services, you will act as a key point of coordination within a busy and evolving healthcare environment by:
*Providing day-to-day high-quality operational and administrative support to multidisciplinary teams and specialist services as required
*Acting as a point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders, responding professionally to queries and escalating issues when appropriate
*Contributing to the monitoring and achievement of operational performance targets and KPIs, supporting timely pathways, clinic utilisation, and service delivery standards
*Managing and maintaining accurate records, databases and electronic systems in line with NHS policies and information governance standards
*Assisting with service coordination, including rota support, meeting organisation, minute taking, and tracking actions and deadlines
*Supporting service improvement initiatives, audits and data collection to improve patient flow, quality and efficiency
*Ensuring tasks are prioritised effectively to meet service demands, agreed timescales and performance expectations
*You will demonstrate a proactive, positive attitude with a strong commitment to supporting high-quality patient care.
This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, adaptable and motivated to contribute to the ongoing development and performance of specialist medical services within the CDG 1A.
