Job summary
The post holder is required to conduct thorough case reviews through the PMRT process, inputting data using the standardised review tool and to collate and present comprehensive timelines of events. The aim is to provide parents a clear explanation surrounding the death of their baby and to identify insight to inform better practice and prevent future perinatal deaths.
Main duties of the job
To work closely with the multidisciplinary and maternity management team in evaluating aspects of patient care including structure, processes and outcomes. Performing accurate and chronological timelines detailing care of the relevant incidents reported via the incident reporting system. To develop, disseminate and monitor action plans to improve services and perinatal outcomes.
