Job summary

Are you a compassionate, forward thinking nurse with dual registration in Mental Health (RMN) and General Adult Nursing (RGN) or General and Paediatric? We are looking to include such skilled staff in our Emergency Care areas and Acute Medicine Units. We are keen for newly qualified and experienced dual registered Nurses to join our teams.

If you're dynamic, thrive in a varied environment--can confidently support individuals with complex Adult mental health needs or Paediatric while also delivering high quality physical healthcare, then your dual expertise will play a vital role in improving outcomes, enhancing patient safety, and shaping the future of integrated nursing practice.

You must be able to start at 0730hrs for day shift or 1930hrs for night shift, be able to work days, nights, weekends and public holidays as this is a 24/7 Acute service

Main duties of the job

To apply you need to be an NMC RMN & RGN or RGN & Paediatric trained (ESSENTIAL), be able to demonstrate strong clinical judgement and excellent communication skills

As a NMC Dual registered Nurse you will provide comprehensive mental and physical health assessments, deliver evidence based compassionate care, contribute to clinical decision-making as part of the multidisciplinary team and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

You will need to be proactive and adaptable in provision of care, with commitment to safeguarding, equality and providing high quality care. As a 24/7 service you will need to be able to work all shift patterns including days, nights, weekend and public holidays as required.
