Job summary
The Trust is offering a 12month fixedterm opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join the Workforce Transformation Team as a People Manager, covering maternity leave. This varied role involves supporting a wide range of transformational programmes and providing strong HR advice across complex organisational change projects.
Candidates should be educated to degree level (or equivalent) with further development to Masters level or equivalent experience in HR or a related field, and be confident working autonomously in a busy environment. The post holder will play a key role in delivering timely, supportive and proactive change management, ensuring colleagues are treated with compassion and kindness.
Hybrid working is available, with a mix of onsite and remote working, and flexible arrangements can be explored. Onsite attendance will be required when necessary to fulfil the duties of the role.
As a People Manager in the Workforce Transformation Team, you will support managers across the Trust to deliver organisational and workforce change. You'll work autonomously as an HR practitioner on a wide range of projects, including TUPE, and lead change programmes in line with Trust policy and employment legislation.
Main duties of the job
You will provide professional advice on reprofiling, skillmix changes and effective staffing, while contributing to workforce planning. The role involves consulting and negotiating with staff and Union Representatives on new structures and working patterns, and supporting delivery of the Trust's People Plan.
Success in this role requires strong communication, coaching and partnership skills, along with high emotional intelligence and resilience.
