An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our excellent dynamic out-patient Physiotherapy teams
The role will involve working autonomously as a lead Physiotherapist providing a clinical specialist Physiotherapy service within associated specialist clinics across the sites but predominantly the HGS sites and take clinical responsibility for the assessment and management decisions for patients who are referred. Responsibilities may include FCP and Orthopaedic work.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring clinical effectiveness across the Physiotherapy service clinic by utilising evaluation and research skills. They will also provide strong clinical leadership in the provision of an effective, high quality, Physiotherapy Service for patients.

This post is for a 12 month secondment/fixed term contract and is for 18.75 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
To work autonomously as a lead Physiotherapist providing a clinical specialist Physiotherapy service within associated specialist clinics across the sites but predominantly the HGS sites (working in collaboration with the Director of AHPs on the QEHB site) -and take clinical responsibility for the assessment and management decisions for patients who are referred.
To be responsible for ensuring clinical effectiveness across the Physiotherapy service clinic by utilising evaluation and research skills.
To provide strong clinical leadership in the provision of an effective, high quality, Physiotherapy Service for patients.
To lead and support audit and research projects to evaluate service delivery.
To be responsible for the education, training and development of Physiotherapy staff across the OPD clinic section.
To regularly review clinical practice delivery considering new models of care and clinical transformation programmes within UHBFT, and to identify new ways of working, this includes the advancement of extended clinical skills in this post and others.
To work with medical, nursing, AHP and other healthcare colleagues across the clinical specialty within UHBFT and outside of the Trust to optimise patient management. This may include implementing and delivering education and training to cross professional groups.
To develop and maintain key working relationships across professional boundaries with consultant and nursing teams who are associated with the Physiotherapy service.

- *Appropriate Physiotherapy or professional qualification e.g. MCSP/ BSc or MSc.
- *Registration with Health Care Professions Council
- *CSP or equivalent professional registration.
- *MSc in relevant subject or working at "M" level as demonstrated by ongoing CPD
- *Evidence of commitment to advanced clinical and non-clinical continued professional development within own speciality, e.g. post registration training, management competencies and evidence of a detailed personal development portfolio
- *Relevant, accredited, postgraduate education/courses in this specialist physiotherapy area
