Qualifications

Essential

  • *Good standard of general education including GCSE English and maths grade c or above
  • *A Levels or equivalent qualification
  • *Degree or diploma in Physiotherapy
  • *Registered with HCPC
  • *Evidence of CPD including recent post graduate training relevant to clinical speciality

Desirable

  • *Evidence of leadership training
  • *Fieldwork Educator's certificate or attendance at Clinical Educators Course

Experience

Essential

  • *Substantial and relevant post-registration experience, providing a broad range of experience in core areas within a healthcare setting.
  • *Significant Experience in MSK within various settings of the MSK field e.g. Acute / Specialist clinics for e.g. Pain, Rheumatology
  • *Highly developed professional clinical skills.
  • *Experience of effective staff management and leadership
  • *Interdisciplinary working.
  • *Team/service development.
  • *Implementation of change management principles.
  • *Experience of dealing with people who display inappropriate behaviours e.g. verbal or physical aggression, in sensitive and potentially hostile situations
  • *Demonstration of specialist knowledge across a range of Physiotherapy procedures, practices and treatments, routine and non-routine, requiring expertise within the particular field
  • *Appropriate Theoretical and practical experience
