Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated clinician to join our team as an Advanced Clinical Audiologist on a full time basis leading rehabilitation across our Audiology and Hearing Implant services. This advanced-level, split-role position offers a unique opportunity to shape and develop integrated rehabilitation pathways for adults with hearing loss, tinnitus, hyperacusis, balance difficulties and hearing implants.
In this role, you'll provide specialist assessment and rehabilitation for complex adult patients, lead the adult tinnitus and hyperacusis services and oversee the delivery of cochlear implant rehabilitation. You will play a key role in service quality, clinical governance and innovation across both specialties.

Main duties of the job
This advanced-level role is for an experienced clinician to lead rehabilitation across both Audiology and Hearing Implant services. The post holder will provide specialist assessment, rehabilitation, and management for complex adult patients. They will act as the clinical lead for the adult tinnitus and hyperacusis services, along with leading the development and delivery of rehabilitation pathways within the cochlear implant programme.
In this split role, you will manage your own caseload of complex adults across both Audiology and Hearing Implant services, while working collaboratively with colleagues to support ongoing service development. You will play a key role in integrating audiological and therapeutic approaches to optimise outcomes for patients with hearing loss, tinnitus, balance difficulties, and hearing implants.
You will provide clinical support and leadership across Audiology and the Hearing Implant Programme, with responsibilities including maintaining service quality and driving continuous service improvement. Additional duties include supporting clinical training, providing line management, and contributing to the wider departmental leadership team.
This role requires flexibility, a high degree of autonomy, and a proactive, innovative approach. You will bring specialist expertise supported by strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience, and you will be expected to maintain and develop your professional skills.
