Band 3 Liver Medicine Medical Secretary

Job summary

This new Medical Secretary role within the Queen Elizabeth Hospital's Liver Services offers the chance to support one of the country's leading Hepatology Teams. You will be the main point of contact for our Liver Medicine clinicians providing administration support to the Hepatology team. Unique to this role is the opportunity to work in a nationally recognised Liver Unit, gaining exposure to complex patient pathways. The position offers a collaborative environment, professional development opportunities and the chance to play a vital role in improving patient experience

Main duties of the job

This post involves managing consultant diaries, preparing correspondence and acting as a key liaison between patients and clinicians. other duties in this post will include letter typing for clinicians and managing medication requests from patients. This post will also include any other general administration duties
