Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced manager to support Oncology, Haematology and Radiotherapy services within CDG10B at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. This post will provide operational leadership to the specialty portfolio working closely with SMT colleagues and providing assurance and support to the CDG10B leadership team.
This is a responsible and demanding role that requires close partnership working with medical, nursing, finance, governance and operational colleagues to deliver excellent care to our patients. This post is based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital but services are delivered at all four UHB sites.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidates to broaden their leadership and management skills in a high profile role within a large teaching Trust.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will work with the Associate Director of Operations and Hospital Leadership Team to lead and manage the services assigned to them. The post holder will be responsible for providing patient centred operational and strategic business planning and leadership to ensure that the assigned specialties achieve their agreed performance objectives within the resources available.
