Job summary
We are seeking a motivated and organised Education Support Officer (Band 4) to join our Healthcare Science Education team at University Hospitals Birmingham (Queen Elizabeth Hospital). You'll support the planning, coordination and delivery of Healthcare Science education across the organisation. You will require excellent communication skills and will need to be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Your duties will include provision and coordination of general administrative services, co-ordination of scoping and submission of expressions of interest for future training posts, collation and analysis of education and financial data for monitoring and quality assurance, support HCS promotion, engagement and trainee activities.

Main duties of the job
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Act as the central point of enquiry via various communication methods, for HCS staff (at all levels) needing assistance with any part of the HCS education process.
*Develop user friendly, low maintenance administrative systems/databases and processes to collate and monitor information.
*Prepare education, financial and workforce information for the Senior Team.
*Assist with co-ordinating HCS events, meetings, open days and activities on behalf of the senior HCS team.
*Support the development and implementation of projects/services within the HCS Education portfolio.
