A unique opportunity has risen, for an experienced TB Nurse, to take on the role for managing and controlling TB in the prison and working in collaboration with the prison healthcare teams and UKHSA.
Main duties of the job
The specified person must have experience with working with disadvantaged communities (underserved populations).
Must be flexible and be able to attend to prison alerts as and when required (immediately, at short notice).

Qualifications
Essential
- *Registered Adult / Child Nurse on the NMC Register (field dependent upon role)
- *Evidence of post-registration CPD.
- *Post-registration qualification in Tuberculosis
- *Professional knowledge supplemented by specialist experience and short courses to degree / master's level equivalent (FHEQ Level 6 / 7).
- *Recognised mentorship/teaching qualification (e.g. mentorship course).
Desirable
- *MSc / working towards a Master's qualification.
- *Advanced Health Assessment module -- completed or working towards (where applicable to the role).
- *Non-Medical Prescriber (V300) or willingness to undertake (where applicable to the role).

- *Evidence and ability to revalidate as required by the NMC.
- *Significant post-registration experience at Band 6 or above, ideally in TB, respiratory, infectious diseases, or related speciality.
