An opportunity has arisen for a Reporting Accountant role, which will be responsible for leading the production of the monthly and quarterly financial returns submitted to NHS England. The Reporting Accountant will also have responsibility for leading the production of the annual financial statements and act as the lead contact for the Trust's external auditors.
The post holder will be required to produce the monthly financial information required to support the Trust's internal financial reporting requirements, including provision of the data and tables for the Finance Report to the Board of Directors and Finance and Performance Committee.
The role will also provide opportunities to work on ad-hoc projects, supporting the Chief Financial Controller.
Main duties of the job
We work on a hybrid model with a blend of office based, on site, and remote working. Office based days will be at our newly refurbished offices at Regent Court, which is accessible via public transport, a few minutes from Five Ways station. Remote home working will be supported for up to 2 days per week.
